Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair 2026 Opens with 630 Exhibitors

45th HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and the 14th Salon de TIME opened

The 45th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and 14th Salon de TIME opened on September 1, 2026, bringing more than 630 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Running until September 5, the twin events cover watch manufacturing, components, finished timepieces, independent brands, wearable technology and luxury watches. Organizers describe the combined fairs as the world’s largest one-stop watch and clock marketplace.

The events are jointly organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association and Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries under the theme “Sparkling Moments Through Time.”

International participation includes group pavilions from France, Switzerland, Guangzhou and Taiwan, alongside a new pavilion from Hengyang in Hunan province. Exhibitors from Norway, Singapore and the United States are also participating for the first time.

Watch & Clock Fair connects buyers with OEM and ODM suppliers

The trade-focused Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair covers the main stages of the watchmaking supply chain. Exhibition areas feature complete watches, clocks, machinery, production equipment, packaging, displays, movements, components and accessories.

The Pageant of Eternity zone presents premium finished watches from original equipment manufacturers and original design manufacturers. It is intended for brands and international buyers seeking manufacturing, engineering and product-development partners.

Hong Kong exhibitor Time Grand is among the companies presenting integrated development and manufacturing services. The company works with international brands and Swiss watchmaking businesses on watch production projects.

Visitors can review participating manufacturers and booth locations through the official 2026 exhibitor list.

A special Time Tunnel marks the fair’s 45th edition by tracing its development since 1982. The display covers Hong Kong’s transition from watch manufacturing and export sourcing towards brand development, design, technological innovation and consumer engagement.

Salon de TIME reaches record 150-brand line-up

Salon de TIME has attracted more than 150 watch brands, its highest total to date. The event is divided into six themed areas covering microbrands, contemporary watches, craftsmanship, independent watchmaking, wearable technology and luxury timepieces.

The Microbrands zone has more than doubled both its number of brands and its international representation compared with 2025, according to the organizers. Participating companies include BREDA from the United States, CIMIER, Fayy, Leger A. Fah, No Identity, AISION, INANLOU and Monves.

The World Brand Piazza returns for its 16th edition in partnership with Prince Jewellery & Watch. It features watches from Baume & Mercier, Corum, DeWitt, Franck Muller, Montblanc and Sarcar.

Unlike the trade-only Watch & Clock Fair, Salon de TIME is open to industry visitors and the public free of charge. Selected exhibitors are also offering direct retail sales during the event. The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre confirms that both fairs run from September 1 to 5.

Sports, sustainable materials and wearable technology feature

Products at the fairs point to several areas of current watch-industry development, including professional sports watches, solar-powered movements, upcycled materials, health-monitoring technology and limited-edition collaborations.

Norwegian brand Micromilspec is making its fair debut with the MILGRAPH, a watch designed for special operations personnel. EDOX is presenting its Delfin 1973 Automatic, which has water resistance of up to 200 metres.

The Green Solutions Suppliers label helps buyers identify exhibitors presenting products with environmental features. Hong Kong microbrand Sunrex is showing a watch powered by its proprietary solar movement, while Robotfigs is using surplus metal wires, copper and acrylic in its Cubot watch and display set.

Wearable technology is also appearing alongside traditional mechanical watchmaking. LINK2CARE and Swiss brand MARVIN have developed a smartwatch incorporating health-monitoring sensors into a leather strap, while Memorigin is presenting a tourbillon with Chinese cultural design references.

These examples give visiting buyers an opportunity to compare established watchmaking categories with newer products combining electronics, health functions, sustainable materials and lifestyle positioning.

Industry programme addresses global watch-market trends

More than 40 forums, seminars, product launches and networking activities are scheduled during the five-day programme.

The Hong Kong International Watch Forum opened the conference programme on September 1 with representatives of watch associations from the Chinese mainland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan and South Korea. Discussions covered trade conditions, national market developments and the integration of traditional watchmaking with emerging technologies.

The Asian Watch Conference on September 2 will examine Hong Kong’s role in international watch trading. Announced contributors include Euromonitor International, secondary-market platform Chrono24 and Lazada Hong Kong.

Other programme highlights include an independent-watchmaking seminar, presentations from 10 microbrands, product launches and the 43rd Hong Kong Watch & Clock Design Competition. The award ceremony will take place on September 5.

The physical exhibition is supported by HKTDC’s Click2Match business-matching service, which remains available until September 12. The official fair schedule allows overseas buyers and exhibitors to continue meetings online after the exhibition halls close.

HKTDC’s CENTRESTAGE fashion event is also taking place at the same venue from September 2 to 5, creating additional sourcing and networking opportunities across watches, accessories and designer fashion.
