MEGA SHOW Hong Kong 2026 to Host 3,000-Plus Exhibitors

MEGA SHOW Hong Kong 2026

MEGA SHOW Hong Kong 2026 will return to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre this October, bringing more than 3,000 export-ready exhibitors together for two phases of consumer-goods sourcing.

Organized by COMASIA Limited, the 33rd edition will run from October 20–23 and October 27–29, 2026. The organizer expects suppliers from more than 25 countries and regions, including the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam.

For international importers, distributors and retailers, the scale and timing make the event a potential anchor for a wider autumn sourcing trip through Hong Kong and southern China.

Two sourcing phases at HKCEC

The official MEGA SHOW fact sheet separates the exhibition into two distinct sourcing phases at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

MEGA SHOW Part 1 takes place from October 20–23. Its exhibits cover gifts and premiums, housewares, Christmas and festive merchandise, creative products, hardware and outdoor goods. Product lines extend from promotional items, personal electronics and travel accessories to kitchenware, home textiles, seasonal decorations, pet supplies and smart wearables.

MEGA SHOW Part 2 follows from October 27–29, giving buyers a second opportunity to source gifts and travel goods, housewares and kitchen products, toys and baby products, stationery, office supplies and sporting goods. The official product list also includes art toys, licensed merchandise, collectibles, AI-enabled toys and cultural creative products.

Taken together, the two phases offer broad coverage for buyers managing several consumer-product categories. Visitors can select one phase for a focused trip or attend both to compare suppliers across a wider merchandise portfolio.

More than 3,000 exhibitors expected

COMASIA says the 2026 edition will feature more than 3,000 exhibitors from over 25 countries and regions. That international mix is intended to give buyers access to established manufacturers, export-ready suppliers and brands from multiple Asian production markets.

The fair’s emphasis remains firmly on physical product discovery. Samples across home, gift, toy, festive, office, travel and outdoor categories can be inspected and compared in person, allowing buyers to discuss specifications, packaging, customization and production requirements directly with suppliers.

According to the official MEGA SHOW website, the event has operated as an autumn sourcing platform in Hong Kong for more than three decades. Its cross-category sourcing format is particularly relevant for importers and retailers seeking to consolidate supplier meetings instead of attending separate specialist fairs.

Overseas buyers can apply for travel support

Qualified international trade buyers may apply for the show’s Overseas Buyer Sponsorship Program. Available options include up to three complimentary hotel nights or a cash subsidy of as much as HKD2,600.

The benefits are conditional rather than automatic. Applicants must satisfy the organizer’s eligibility and attendance requirements, which may include scheduled business-matching meetings, proof of travel, minimum daily visiting times and a refundable guarantee deposit for hotel arrangements.

For Part 1, the maximum HKD2,600 cash subsidy requires attendance on October 20, 21 and 22. Smaller subsidies are available for qualifying two-day visits. Separate two-night hotel and cash-support arrangements are offered for Part 2.

The published application deadline is September 30, 2026, and accommodation is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Buyers should review the complete terms before making non-refundable travel reservations.

Combining Hong Kong with the Canton Fair

MEGA SHOW’s dates fit closely around the autumn 140th Canton Fair in Guangzhou. Canton Fair Phase 1 runs from October 15–19, Phase 2 from October 23–27 and Phase 3 from October 31 to November 4.

This creates several possible itineraries. Buyers can attend Canton Fair Phase 1 before traveling to Hong Kong for MEGA SHOW Part 1, or move between MEGA SHOW Part 1 and Canton Fair Phase 2. MEGA SHOW Part 2 finishes two days before Canton Fair Phase 3 begins.

The arrangement could help overseas procurement teams compare suppliers in Guangzhou and Hong Kong during one regional trip. Buyers should nevertheless allow sufficient time for transportation, immigration procedures, supplier follow-ups and sample handling.

MEGA SHOW is open to trade buyers aged 18 or above. Part 1 carries a HKD200 onsite registration fee, which is waived for preregistered buyers, while Part 2 offers free admission. Buyer preregistration is now available.
