C-TOUCH & DISPLAY SHENZHEN 2026 runs from 27 to 29 October 2026 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an, occupying Halls 10, 12, 14 and 16. Organizer RX Kuozhan is building the 2026 edition around three new technology zones covering AI+AR smart glasses, Micro LED optical interconnects and TGV glass substrates.
For sourcing teams, the zones matter more than the headline numbers. Here is why.
Read the scale figures carefully
The release cites 180,000 square meters, more than 3,600 exhibitors, over 170,000 professional visitors and 5,000-plus overseas buyers. Those figures describe the co-located cluster, not C-TOUCH & DISPLAY on its own.
The show is one component of Industrial Technology World Asia, co-located with seven other industrial technology exhibitions including FILM & TAPE EXPO, COMMERCIAL DISPLAY, AUTOMOTIVE WORLD CHINA and NEPCON ASIA. One trade directory states directly that the 2025 figure of 160,000 square meters was the total exhibition area of the co-located events. The 2025 release used the same construction, quoting 3,500-plus exhibitors and 160,000 square meters while placing C-TOUCH itself in Halls 10, 12 and 14. Independent event listings put C-TOUCH’s own exhibitor count far lower, in the hundreds.
This is not a reason to skip the show. It is a reason to plan around the cluster rather than the brand. One registration admits you to all eight ITWA halls, which is the actual value on offer. Budget your time by hall, not by show name.
Against 2025, the concrete changes are one additional hall for C-TOUCH itself, from three to four, and roughly 20,000 square meters more floor space across the cluster.
The three new zones
The AI+AR Smart Glasses Zone gathers optical display modules, chips, materials, complete-device developers and AI interaction solutions, targeting AR/VR, intelligent mobility, industrial inspection and healthcare applications.
The Micro LED AI Optical Interconnection and Glass Substrate Advanced Packaging Zone covers Micro LED optical interconnect chips, CPO optical-module glass substrates, TGV equipment and materials. The application target is next-generation data centers and high-speed optical communication, which places a display show inside the AI infrastructure supply chain.
The TGV Glass Substrate Manufacturing Demonstration Line shows the full through-glass via process end to end, from precision via formation through thin-glass processing. Demonstration lines are worth prioritising if you are evaluating a process rather than buying a finished part, because they let you see yield and handling constraints that a booth display cannot show.
More than 20 forums run alongside the exhibition, covering new display technologies, commercial and automotive displays, smart glasses, Micro LED optical communication and TGV.
What this means for international buyers
Check the venue name against your booking. Shenzhen has two major exhibition centres with confusingly similar names. This show is at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District, near the airport, not the older Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Futian. Booking a Futian hotel for a Bao’an show costs you roughly an hour each way.
Check whether you need a visa. China’s National Immigration Administration listed 50 countries under the unilateral 30-day visa-free policy as of 17 February 2026, when the UK and Canada were added, and the waiver runs to 31 December 2026. Chinese consular guidance confirms that attending exhibitions is a permitted purpose under the waiver, so buyers from most of Europe, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Brazil and Argentina can attend on a passport alone. The October dates fall inside the current window, but the policy has been extended year by year rather than made permanent, so do not assume the same applies when you plan for 2027.
If you do need a visa, note that China’s new Regulations on Exit and Entry Administration took effect on 15 September 2026 and will be fully in force by late October. The stated purpose of an application must be truthful and lawful, officers can request supporting documents to verify it, and invitation-letter issuers are now accountable for accuracy.
Shenzhen’s position next to Hong Kong gives you a routing option that Chongqing or Chengdu do not. Flying into Hong Kong and crossing by land at Futian or Huanggang is often cheaper than a direct Shenzhen flight, and the waiver applies at open land crossings as well as airports. Your 30 days start at the mainland crossing, not when you land in Hong Kong.
Whichever route you take, carry proof of purpose. Border officers may ask for hotel bookings, an onward ticket or your show registration confirmation, and under the new rules they can request documents to verify the purpose you stated.
Book meetings before you fly. The TAP Target Attendee Program arranges one-to-one meetings between qualified buyers and relevant exhibitors, based on sourcing requirements you submit in advance. In four halls inside a cluster this size, pre-arranged meetings are the difference between seeing a dozen suppliers and seeing three. Submit requirements when you register rather than on arrival, since supplier calendars fill first for the categories drawing the most interest.
Check what your badge actually covers. The Industrial Technology World Asia shows share a single registration. CPCA Show Plus 2026, hosted by the China Printed Circuit Association, runs on the same dates at the same venue but is a separate event with its own registration, covering PCBs, semiconductor packaging, packaging substrates and ceramic substrates. If your sourcing spans display and advanced packaging, register for both. Its scale is also a useful yardstick for the numbers discussed above: 400 exhibitors across 40,000 square meters is what a genuinely standalone show at Shenzhen World looks like.
One practical note on the technology zones. Micro LED optical interconnect and TGV are early-commercialisation categories, which means many exhibitors will show capability rather than production-ready supply. Ask directly about current monthly output and qualified customers before treating a demonstration as a sourcing option.
